Talk of bad weather on the radio today. Saying that we should see the biggest snow of the year. Expecting 8-12 inches in southern WV. Today I went and stocked up at the grocery store, in case we wouldn't be able to get out. Picked up some salt for the porches and sidewalks so my wife wouldn't be slipping. Put a cover over my heat pump so that it wouldn't freeze up. But just in case I have wood for the fireplace. So either way we won't be getting cold.
"Recession starts taking toll: will it lead to another crash?"
"Worries are building that today;s sagging economy may be on the brink of collapse."
It may surprise you, however, to learn that the two quotes above were from November of 1974 and December of 1982. Isn't this wild. Here most people rely on how the government is doing, yet it makes the same mistake again. It doesn't surprise me, but it will most.
It says in the Bible that a man named Isaac grew one of the greatest gardens and during a drought. When everyone else didn't think it was possible. Everyone had came to him when his garden grew. For everyone else didn't prepare. He became so prosperous that even the king of Gerar asked him to leave because he was more prosperous than the whole nation.
I am saying its time to prepare your garden. Our government has messed up before. We can't not depend on the economy, but be prepared for all things. Start putting back and saving what you can. Anything from food to extra blankets, or ways of purifying water to saving up ammo. You cannot do enough. Our economy is not always going to be able to take care of things. Well, truly they never have. I say be like Isaac! When everyone else says the economy will be okay, and there is no need to prepare for anything. I will be prepared. I will be ready for the worst of times. While everyone else flocks to Wal-Marts and Grocery stores not being able to get anything because there sold out. I will have had everything I need for me and my family to live and fend for ourselves.
We aren't limited by this world's economy! Let those who trust in money panic. For in God we trust!
All for now, I'll post soon.
Great post son, glad to hear you are getting ready. It's gonna hit the fan soon, bank on it. Buy up some canned goods too. If all else fails, get your but to my house quick.
